LSC has established an evaluation system to systematically assess web sites funded through the TIG program. The components of the system are identified below.
New (First) and Renewal (Second) Web Site Grants
Recipients of TIG "new (first) web site grants" and "renewal (second) web site grants" must complete evaluations using the on-line web site evaluation surveys for:
- Client web sites
- Advocate web sites
- Client User interviews
You may find the instruments at: TIG Web Site Evaluation Surveys.
The sequence in which an individual grantee has implemented the different components of their web sites will dictate the specific instruments they should use to meet the particular evaluation requirements for their new and renewal web site grants. Grantees that implemented the client side of their web sites first should complete the Client Web Site Evaluation System to meet the evaluation requirements for the new web site grants and the Advocate Web Site Evaluation System to meet the evaluation requirements for their renewal web site grants. Grantees that implemented the advocate side of their web sites first should complete the Advocate Web Site Evaluation System to meet the evaluation requirements for the new web site grants and the Client Web Site Evaluation System to meet the evaluation requirements for their renewal web site grants.
All grantees should complete the Client User Interview instruments as part of their renewal grant evaluations.
Recipients of TIG Program Renewal (Second) Web Site Grants also must submit a Renewal Web Site Narrative Report ( 24k) .
Recipients must complete all other grant milestone requirements prior to completing evaluations for first or second grants. Grantees should contact Magali Khalkho (khalkhom@lsc.gov) to ensure that they have met these requirements. For questions about web site evaluations contact Bristow Hardin (hardinb@lsc.gov).
Continuation (Third) Web Site Grants
The Continuation (Third) Web Site Grants require the submission of a final narrative report. The Continuation (Third) Web Site Grant Final Evaluation Report Form ( 23k) provides guidance for preparing the final report for these grants.
